Vasilis Polychroniadis was born in Athens, Greece in 1980 where took interest in the arts at a young age. He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts and also learned stage design at the Staurakou Film School. After his studies, he spent time in New York City, where studied art at the Collage Of New York. He has collaborated with American artist, Matthew Barney, and Italian producer, Franco Zeffirelli. One of his proudest accomplishments was being named head painter of the Opera House of Greece.
He currently live and works in his studio in Athens, Greece but he also spends a lot of time on the island of Crete.
